Pula Airport has announced a new London Heathrow Airport - Pula flight by British Airways for the period from 1 July to 30 September.

Flights on that route will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The first flight is expected to land at Pula Airport on 1 July at 20.35 hours, the airport reported.

British Airways already operates flights from Heathrow to Zagreb and Split, as well as from Gatwick Airport to Dubrovnik.

British Airways is the sixth airline that has London -Pula flights along with Easyjet, Norwegian Air shuttle, Thomson Airways, Ryanair and Jet2.com). This is the first time that Pula will be connected with flights departing from London's largest airport, which has an annual turnover of 75 million passengers.

"Passengers from Great Britain account for the largest number of arrivals at Pula Airport, accounting for 31% of total passenger turnover and an annual growth of 20%. This season we are connected with Europe's four largest airports, Heathrow in London, Charles de Gaulle in Paris, Frankfurt and Amsterdam," Radmilo said. (Hina/FaH)
