Croatian tourism being promoted at Utrecht, Vienna fairs this week
Croatian tourism is being presented in Utrecht and Vienna this week, whereby the National Tourist Board (HTZ) has kicked off this year's promotion at international fairs, which envisages participation at 25 events at the cost of HRK 16 million (EUR 2.1m), the HTZ said on Thursday.
There will be no change in the visual presentation this year and the accent will remain on the new concept "Full of Life".
At the biggest fairs, such as those in Madrid, Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt and London, the HTZ will provide top Croatian wines in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) and the Vina Croatia winemakers association.
A "Cheese and Wine Party" will be organised as part of the two biggest business tourism fairs, ITB in Berlin and WTM in London as last year it proved to be a good way of additionally branding Croatia as a destination with top wines and cuisine.
At Europe's biggest nautical fair, BOOT in Duesseldorf, HTZ will organise an informal gathering with music and Croatian delicacies in cooperation with HGK and the ACI marina operator.
The Vakantiebeurs fair in Utrecht, which focuses on camping, is taking place on Jan 11-15. The Dutch are among the most numerous foreigners in Croatian campsites.
