Parliament votes confidence in new government

ZAGREB, 19.10.2016.

After a debate that lasted the whole day, the Croatian parliament on Wednesday evening voted confidence in Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and his government.

Of 139 MPs attending the session, 91 voted for the new government, 45 voted against and three abstained.

After the vote, the new ministers were sworn in.
